There’s adb and fastboot for linux though. Don’t see why it wouldn’t run on Mac?
But there’s Terminal Emulator too. Can run it there.
Settings > Apps > top right menu “show system apps” > something with galaxy and keyboard in the name, select it > disable/freeze
Edit: right, probably can’t disable system apps, silly me. Google for “adb disable app”, i forgot the exact syntax; this works for system apps too

You absolutely can regex (some) html if you sanitize and maybe convert it beforehand.
Btw, why are parsers always built to support the whole thing and maybe throw an error on or just consume unsupported shenanigans? That’s how you get security vulnerabilities in picture formats. Instead of just picking the things you support and ignoring the rest.
