I would really rather that these were actual examples, and not conspiracy theories. We all have our own unsubstantiated ideas about what shadowy no-gooders are doing, but I’d rather hear about things that are actually happening.

They’re a dictatorship/have no elections ≠ they aren’t a dictatorship, and they do have elections, but I, as a foreigner who’s been raised on a constant diet of anti China sentiments, don’t consider them ‘legitimate.’

I don’t consider the elections of most western countries legitimate, but I still wouldn’t call their leaders dictators

they have show elections. the trick to recognise if a country has legitmate elections is to see if the leaders change, which weirdlt enough all the west’s do and none of the east’s

        No, they have elections.

Lol, China’s leaders do change. Maybe you should have done any research before just believing the lie you’ve been told often enough.

        and none of the east’s

Are ok, you’re just a racist.

chinas leader change when they die

I am once again asking you to do even a shred of research before wading into this discussion.

It would help prevent a lot of useless bickering if you could provide sources for your own claims instead of begging others to do the work for you.

Anyone who can’t verify for themselves that changes in Chinese leadership aren’t the result of the old one dying is nakedly talking in bad faith and just trying to waste my time. This is not the sort of thing you need to find academic papers for.

Note also that he was the one making the claim, maybe ask him for his source.

Why is it so hard to say where you get your info from? If it’s so easy to find then why are you trying so hard to find ways to get out of this scenario where you just cite a source? I don’t give a dick what they said, as far as I remember you’re the one who has made this claim almost a dozen times now without a SINGLE source.

And news flash moron, you’re the one who made the original claim! You’re the top comment here! How fucking stupid do you think I am?

Fuck off back to the hell you came from with this moronic autocratic propaganda.
