How standardized a lcd panels? Could I replace the controller in a smart TV with one of these HDMI to LCD controllers? https://www.ebay.com/itm/375318342725__

All of them have the same level of access to networks (LAN/WAN): none. Worst offender is a legacy Roku that keeps up it’s direct connect WiFi broadcast, but it’s on its own isolated VLAN.
