    You haven’t seen Texas, then. Texas has Big Bend, which is my second favorite National Park in the whole country. And I’ve been to over 100 National Parks, Preserves, and Monuments.

    Yosemite is still more beautiful, though.

      National parks are owned by the Feds, so using them as “my state is beautiful” is cheating. Guarantee it TX was actually responsible for the maintenance of their parks… Well they probably wouldn’t exist to begin with, but sure as shit wouldn’t be what they are today

      It makes me sad that you’re getting downvoted for having love for your home.

      I’m from Alberta, which I think is kinda like the Texas of Canada. And like damn has there been some damage done but also for real the land in many areas is incredible. Alberta is fucked politically and socially to the point where I can’t be there, but it makes me sad when people turn that into talking shit about the entirety of the land.
