Google adjusted its policies to target AI spam earlier this year, but plagiarizing content still comes up higher in search results months later—and SEO experts aren’t sure why.

        I more meant the AI takeover of the internet in general. This is one of the few online spaces where you can still find real news and interact with real people.

            Yes, absolutely. That is a concern that I too share, fellow meat being. We should be vigilant against superior, more capable, and really friendly artificial intelligences.

              Idk about you but I’ve thought of making a Lemmy instance exclusively for bots. Have an algorithm make posts, have a collection of llm accounts semi-randomly commenting on them and responding to each other. It could allow federated users to make comments that are able to be interacted with by the bots.
