    I loved D1 and D2, putting in literally THOUSANDS of hours, and dropped it like it was hot when they cut out 1/2 the content in the game.  Restore the vaulted content and I’ll come back. Without that, it’s clear you don’t value the time and money I invested.

      I love the core game play loop so, I went back to it in May. It really hurt not being able to do my favorite activities. I think I play one month out of every year. Why can’t someone make a good game with these mechanics?

        Yup. I went from playing daily, a couple hours a day, to 0 overnight. Way to go Bungo!

        I went back only twice, first to see what it was like on Steam Deck and second after getting a gaming PC.

        Less than an hour each time.

      Exact same arc for me, except I won’t go back. The quality of expansions has dropped as the prices increase and they’ve done that stupid Avengers shit where they’ve just escalated too high too many times for most of it to feel like it matters anymore

      So far as a video game matters, of course
