Try different instances and see which works best for you. My favourite is https://inv.nadeko.net/ If you want to self host you can as well. Hope that helped

Nope
Invidious is basically a private front end for YouTube, however once you choose an instance go and change the settings to suit your needs. Try different instances and see which works best for you.
My favourite is https://inv.nadeko.net/
