Polk County District Court Judge Joseph Seidlin on Monday temporarily blocked Iowa’s six-week abortion ban bill that ceased nearly all abortions in the state for 72 hours. The legislation was signed on Friday by Gov. Kim Reynolds after state lawmakers held a special session Tuesday with the “sole purpose” of passing the legislation.
Nope. They meant there should be no absolute one-size-fits-all number of weeks. There should be no weeks because it is a medical decision between the patient and doctor. They will not provide a number of weeks because the number of weeks is no one’s business but the patient and doctor.
So I’ll ask you - do you think someone should be able to get an abortion at 40 weeks?
