The slipspace engine, which they were previously using, was just an updated version of the reach engine. 343 have never actually used a completely new engine until now, they had just been updating the previous bungie engine

I get why some people are mad at the facial changes, I personally think it’s unnecessary, but if the game is good who cares. But making up false reviews to bring down a game just because you disagreed with how they handled something is crazy.

They did restructure and fire alot of the old management , so maybe it’s not as bad now

Thing is, that’s not how it works on PlayStation. On PS5 you can download and play games without ever connecting to wifi. The whole glorified installer is mostly an Xbox thing ever since the XB1. I’d know since I own both and usually get discs to play my games.

Nah from what I’ve heard is because they perceive as being very complex, more so than it actually is.

It’s way harder to find posts on mastodon compared to bluesky as you have to follow people to start getting a feed, whilst in bluesky they have a discovery feed. This makes it a way more streamlined experience for users, making bluesky and threads far more attractive to users than mastodon
