Like why the fuck are they subscribed to his communities in the first place???
They browse the All feed.

Sounds good, thanks!
There’s also https://piefed.social/ that is promising
They keep changing every few weeks, so I guess that’s why people haven’t summarized the differences.
Do you have any question in particular?
Hello,
When are you planning to update to 0.19.8?
Piefed is more promosing. Sublinks has been on hold for a while now
Hello,
Jumping in with a small question: should someone come up with the argument that the carnivore diet is not healthy, and indeed does not follow LW ToS, what would happen?
Asking following posts on !newcommunities@lemmy.world and !yepowertrippinbastards@lemmy.dbzer0.com pointing the double standard between carnivore and vegan diets
https://piefed.social/ is catching up
I guess it depends on the user profile.
If they want to make an instance grow, and are ready to subscribe to most of the communities themselves, then sure, go for it!
If they just want something that works, the two suggestions above are quite good. Sopuli and DO aren’t even that big now, so they can also benefit from the promotion
Your instance is small, you can see it on https://fedidb.org/software/lemmy and filter by monthly active users.
It is usually recommended to go to more populated instance as other people would subscribe to other communities for you.
If you want a more populated instance, you can go to
Agreed, especially on the “broken links” part
Thank you for clarifying!
Lemmy 0.19.6 and 0.19.7 were released in November, shouldn’t this change be included in those versions?

As I’ve been using lemmy.cafe for a while now, I might switch to it as my “curious new joiner” recommendation.
Multicommunities would also help with that. News communities would not flood your general feed anymore if you were able to have a specific feed for them
Indeed, but an American admin team could still manage an instance hosted elsewhere.
With a tld ending like .world you’d think it’s for the whole world, not just europe (.eu) or a specific country.
Indeed. It always surprises me that !politics@lemmy.world is specifically US-only. Why not !uspolitics@lemmy.world?
Thank you for bringing this up
