I was with you until the last two sentences and then you just dove overboard. Life is fucking great compared to just about any time in the past. You know refrigerators have only been around for a little over a hundred years? Same with antibiotics, antibacterial soaps, indoor plumbing, electricity, tv, radio, and obviously the internet.
