Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Should Lemmy consider potentially adding a QR code feature for user profiles, similar to what Mastodon has introduced?
32·8 months agoI can’t see any reason why. Profiles on lemmy are not that important, you don’t have to follow anyone, communities are the center of everything.

I remember liking to “David Tennant does a podcast with”. I don’t remember any ads. Unfortunately it’s over now
I found out about Lemmy when the api thing happened but since Infinity was still working, I stayed. But because I like open source stuff and I wanna be part of the fediverse and support it, I joined Lemmy.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•I have a Kindle, but it doesn't scroll and I'm a scroller. Anybody got an Android app that scrolls ebooks really well? Preferably open source and able to access the web (where my library resides)?
11·1 year agoIt’s not open source but honestly, I find google play books the best one :))

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Arguments why Telegram is not a good idea for anyone
12·1 year agoIt’s true. I’m also really annoyed with rising telegram premium stuff. It used to be just a nifty addon, now it’s everywhere.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Let's clarify something: does Bluesky allow federated servers on their network? Is there a list of those independent servers?English
14·1 year agoI think they do but they use AT protocol (theirs) instead of ActivityPub so that’s why you don’t see them in mastodon and they don’t have many servers in federation
I really really don’t like the app

First of all, kbin is dead. Check mbin. Plus I think mbin is like communities (magazines) + microblogging. Lemmy doesn’t support microblogging
