Computer over. Virus = very yes
TL;DR: we’re taking over control of the country, and as long as nobody tries to stop us, it won’t be violent.
It’s like when a thief robs your house and claims it’s the homeowners fault for the violence, “if they didn’t try to stop us it would’ve been peaceful.”
What a crock of crap.
The problem with making things you make free, is that people as a whole are terribly selfish and lazy. They will take anything free and claim them as their own. Individually, tons of people will respect the wishes of original creators, but it only takes 1 single person who doesn’t care who will ruin it. The problem is the Internet has billions of 1’s. You can ask please don’t copy my freely available thing all you want, but it’ll never happen. There will always be those that will repost as thier own. From ideas to assets, nothing is sacred when it comes to the masses.
Oh, thanks! I didn’t notice :)
This statement assumes that the Presidential candidates have any intention of “serving the country” as far as I can remember, they’ve only been interested in serving themselves, and all benefits and consequences the county saw was purely a coincidental side effect.
I mean, it’s true they have a lot of games that use predatory systems designed to trick you into spending more money than you need to. As well as games that are designed purely on capitalizing on base feeling of satisfaction of big number go up. But I feel like this is akin to suing casinos for their games having odds in their favor.
How much of it is on the company, and how much on the player? Like where is the line? If a game is designed to be solely addictive with no other value or purpose, probably should not be acceptable, but how do you make that determination as a games value is different for every individual.
Almost impossible to make a blanket judgement on this, and any legal precedent set by this lawsuit will be troublesome no matter which outcome.
TikTok just starts showing a lot of Bill Cosby shorts for some reason.
Pretty similar to what’s going on with Twitter right now.
In the end, nothing. I had a good solid 9 months of a job I loved, with decent enough pay. But then tanks to corporate execs laid off the entire IT team and outsourced it to a staffing company and reduced the size of the team from 100+ to about 8.
I’m still there because I still need the pay, but now it’s just like every other garbage corporate job out there. Miserable and soul sucking.
Ah it was easy enough to get the iron key unlocked during post, as those HP servers take forever to boot, problem was the bios couldn’t recognize the USB. Whatever firmware is on it that does the security confused the system, and while it saw the drive, it didn’t know what it was and wouldn’t boot from it. In both uefi mode, and in legacy bios mode
One thing I can tell you, it’s that you can’t use them as bootable drives to install an OS from. And if you try to pass the USB connection from an ESXi host to a VM on it, it won’t work.
Aside from that, they’re really annoying to work with.
In other news: water is wet.
Honestly surprised that Tesla allowed him to modify his car without charging him a $30,000 fine or something.
Cool, so YouTube will start putting pop ups that require you to consent to the detection in order to watch videos. That’s what everyone did with the whole cookies thing when that was determined to be illegal without consent.
I think it’s a mindflyer parasite. If you hear it talking to you, make sure not to listen.
And here is the CEO complaining that Google uses unfair policies to push it’s apps. Fuck both of them.
Oh fuck off Microsoft. Nobody wants to hear that shit from you. If you had your way our fucking cars would be powered by edge, and would tell us to play raid shadow legends every time we turned it on.
I said to replace “violent video” not just violent. Any competitive game leads to increased verbal aggression and hostility. Just look at people who play sports, same type of behavior. It’s not exclusive to video games.
This is literally the first I’m hearing of this game.
