My experience is that nurses are not particularly intelligent or even that well-educated. Which isn’t to say that they are less intelligent or less educated than the average person–moreso that they are very much the average person.
Doctors are very hit or miss.

We were told that if we went and got a college degree, we would have a well-paying, decent (which is to say, doesn’t treat us like crap) job out the door and that the degree would pay for itself within a few years.
