God damn I’m fucking hype for this game. Every bit of gameplay I’ve seen looks amazing.

I tried Linux as a daily driver for a couple months last year. I distro hopped quite a bit in that time and ended up settling on Manjaro. It was a pretty good experience over all, the only reason I switched back is because I couldn’t get mods to work with Guild Wars 2 without crashes, but every other game I played worked fine and I don’t really play GW2 anymore. So when support for 10 drops next year, I’ll probably go bad to Manjaro.

God, I’m so fucking tired of AAA game devs spouting bullshit like this. Do you make good games, sure, are they revolutionizong the industry, no. Get your fucking head out of your ass.

I’m not a Linux guru by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m a pretty big gamer and I daily drove Linux as a sort of experiment for a few months a last year. I went with Manjaro and had a pretty enjoyable experience.

Old as it is, a lot of his points still hold water. AI interpolation still shits all over artistic intent. Shit looks awful.

The glass and the screen itself are one cohesive piece. What I’m trying to say is that the glass on the new screen is the same size as the previous screen, and the glass is how the screen is adhered to the front of the case so as long as there’s nothing crazy going on on the back side and it uses the same connector it should be interchangeable. That’s my hope anyway.

Yes but they accomplished that by reducing the size of the bezels, like what Nintendo did with the OLED switch. The screen unit itself has the same footprint as the old one

I’m just hoping once the new screen goes up on ifixit that it’s compatible with older models. That way I don’t have to buy a whole new deck if I want the screen, I can just upgrade my launch model.
