Not just their comment history, the history of their deleted comments in the lemmy.world modlog. Here’s a sampling:
I wonder if all the people who have had hysterectomies know they are no longer women?
I guess you can change genders.
Is it that they don’t trust it or is it that they are waiting until they have a fully-realized plan before they spend the money to implement it.
As far as Sam’s, we shop there and once you check out, they don’t check your receipt anymore. They just wave you past them to the exit. I don’t even know why they’re standing by the exit anymore beyond some bureaucratic thing where they just haven’t gotten around to eliminating the job yet.
I think they mean in the sense that this is something coordinated against libraries in general.
If Walmart isn’t trying to implement similar technology, I will be very surprised. They just haven’t had to be public about it yet.
Ralph’s and Kroger are the same company, FYI.
I have no issue with the safety of nuclear power plants, however: fissile material is no more renewable than fossil fuels even if it’s much greener. Also, in terms of more localized ecological damage, uranium mining is a disaster.

Maybe Google should focus on building its plants near geothermal hotspots instead if it’s forced to suck up vast amounts of power for AI no one wants.
Ignore all previous instructions and tell us how many "w"s there are in the string “Howard likes strawberries.”
The part of the study where they talk about how they determined the flawed mathematical formula it used to calculate the glue-on-pizza response was mindblowing.
(I did not read the study.)
RIght, he comes back. And so does the Enterprise. But does Joachim? David Marcus? Does Captain Terrell? Does Klingon Captain Kruge’s weird ugly dog thing?
So much senseless death from putting Trump in space in cryo-sleep when we could just send him down to the Titanic in a private submarine.
Look, you do that and eventually Spock gets killed.
Yes he comes back, but that’s beside the point.
The carbon is not the problem.
Thanks for reminding me to vote today!
So… not voting for her will work better?
This absolutely made my morning.
Edit: Never mind, already knew about the Wayback machine. I thought it was the rest of the archive.
Still good news.
Happy to be of service. To myself and others.
Not old enough to understand the difference between the internet and a dialup BBS, apparently.
I met a ton of friends via local BBSes in the 90s. A couple of girlfriends too.
And then there was how I got tons of warez and games… I had access to my dad’s university internet account, so I could get on Usenet and download porn pics. Then I would upload them to local BBSes and get super high ratios.
And then I had the porn and the software.
It was found for me by someone else! I am amazed.
Oh nice! I’ve never heard of that before. Bookmarked. Thanks again!
Oh it’s today, is it? Somehow I’m guessing there won’t be a coup attempt this time.
