How many Essex girls does it take to screw in a light bulb? None, Essex girls screw in Capris.
Which goes to show how old these jokes are.
I actually think a major part of the problem in US politics is that the balance of power is effectively upside down compared to most modern democracies.
Here in Ireland for example, we have three levels just like you: the Dáil is like the House of Representatives, the Seanad is the senate, and we both have presidents. However the head of government here is the leader of the largest party in the Dáil, and the other two are really figureheads. It means that other parties are way more involved in government and lessens the tendencies for a single figurehead to run rampant, changing stuff to suit himself every 4-8 years.
Ireland also uses PR, but we’ve actually gotten quite good at the vote counts, and we probably don’t have the same threat of bad actors in some other countries.
It’s the same in the UK - parliament is the actual government, while the House of Lords and the king are at this stage vestigial. But they use fptp, which is making it difficult to remove a minority government for the last dozen years or so.

The answer for the deep copy would seem to be a combination of a static recursive function to copy the array while cloning the objects inside, with setting the __clone() magic function in your objects to break the references, no? Granted it’s not a built in function, but not difficult to implement.
And while there’s a chance Trump will be the next president so he can throw out the remaining liberal judges and bring in basically far-right extremists
Maybe start it at 10m and index link it to the average wage thereafter. Make it in their own interests to boost everyone’s wages.
All income over $10m per year is taxed at 100%. Foreign and domestic put together.
Tfw the CIO is the project manager, you’re 26 months into a 6 month project, and he’s still lying to the board that it will be done within 3 months, whereas the team know it’s at least 2 years away (if ever) because of vendor indifference and incompetence.
Hang blue dong, of course
Russia got rid of all the AN225s in the world, I think it’s only fair Ukraine gets to eradicate all the IL-76s.
