God damn you guys really can’t recognize the most blatantly obvious jokes ever.

Used it for over a decade, finally stopped and am just using Ublock now, it’s so nice not having to open the menu for every new website to find the scripts that need allowed to make the site work.

IMO people act like it’s training wheels so they can get better, but it’s more like turning the game to easy and not having to face any challenging hurdles. When people go into a game on easier difficulties and then try to play it on a higher difficulty, they actually generally have a harder time than if they just played the game on the harder difficulty to begin with (with some exceptions). Players should be getting better by experience not algorithmically making them feel better by pitting them against other poor players. It worked just fine for a long time before the invention of SBMM, and servers used to do a lot of the filtering for us before that stopped being common (for absolutely no good reasons).

Make it easier to get into? I’ve wanted to for years but when I looked into studying for the test (which can only be taken in another city in my state and only a few times a year), I found a like 4 hour long video and when I tried watching it it was like someone speaking a foreign language. I don’t have a ton of free time to study for the test and it seems like I need to already be a master electrician to even study for the test.

So yeah, maybe don’t make it so difficult and more people might want to get into it?

This is why I really respect when a game has very clear separations on the slider indicating that one end is very intensive, bonus points if the game warns me that it might but run well at maxed settings.

I have to admit that if the loot box issue in Genshin is the same as CSGO then this might just be a case of dumbass kids. I’ve never bought anything in CSGO and I have hundreds of hours in the game. You rarely get a good long close up look at gun skins in game which is all there really is to get from the boxes, so who fucking cares; and if there are attention calling GUI elements for the loot boxes then they aren’t very significant because I don’t recall them and my eyes apparently just gloss right over. So I really can’t understand someone throwing a bunch of money at that without like the involvement of scammer YouTubers spreading lies to make money for their own hanging) gambling sites.
