This is exactly why it should throw an error, to make it incredibly obvious something isn’t working correctly so it can be fixed. Otherwise you have wrong logic leading to hard to notice and hard to debug problems in your code

Can someone ELI5 what impeachment even achieves, and why it seemed to do nothing last time? Is it just a badge of dishonour?
He is like tony stark in a timeline where Tony stark decided to join the terrorists instead of building the suit to escape. Oh and in this timeline Tony Starks brain has been rotted away by ketamine
If you have some good PowerShell examples, feel free to contribute them, I’m sure they’d be welcome
If you are bored of writing Brainfuck in your spare time, try Lambda Calculus instead as an exciting alternative!
Some of the examples seem to be more “unintuitive for newbies”, but there are still some good ones in there
The second syntax isn’t actually enums at all, it’s closer to a union type definition. You can’t even define enum Colour = Red | Green | Blue
using your second syntax.
Forth is fairly different AFAIK. If you want a “Forth style” language for general purpose, with more “batteries included”, try Factor! It’s a really nice language.
My wife (then gf) and I moved in to the current apartment when we were ~25 (we are now almost 30). We made little notes introducing ourselves for all the neighbours, and one couple responded by bringing us a bottle of wine as a gift. We ended up friends with them, playing board games, video games, D&D, and the occasional party. We dont hang out consistently, but its nice to have friends in the building.
Surely “compiled” Vs “scripting” langs is better than throwing around (at best) meaningless terms like “real”
Reading. It doesn’t have to be much, but occasionally filling idle moments with a few pages read instead of doom scrolling social media can do wonders. It did for me at least.
Ah yes, dismissing research before it even exists, based on personal belief. What a healthy attitude.
we invented the modern car
I’m not saying that the left is the correct side to drive on, but you do realise that roads and “driving” (with horses) have existed well before the modern car right?
In fact the US used to drive on the left, until large freight wagons started preferring the right due to where the dude holding the horse whip was sitting.
I don’t think money itself corrupts, but power does and power comes with money. Im currently reading a book “Human Kind” that argues that people are generally pretty decent, but that even a little bit of power almost always starts changing people’s behaviour, affecting their empathy, etc.
I’m sorry but how is a couple million “not rich”
This doesn’t answer the question at all though?
Is the entity an immortal snail?
Norway. There are many reasons, but the big big one for me is the absolutely incredible nature AND the ability to properly enjoy it via Wildcamping. Being able to simply venture out into the forest for a weekend is such a nice thing.
That is just the tip of the iceberg:
