Fair enough, I heard there was gliding involved. Freaking love the griffin movement, I respect wanting to copy it

So after yoinking the sky scale mount from guild wars for their dragons, they are now going to yoink the roller beetle too, gotcha
That was what was kind of making me suspicious. They said steam deck verified but I expected a shitty EA launcher that would make launching it on steam deck at least annoying, possibly even impossible. So if they DON’T have a launcher…that’s amazing. Hopefully true
I agree with the guy that said Outer Wilds, even though I can’t finish it because of my thalassophobia.
Personally, the two games that had a really profound effect on me are Disco Elysium and Hi-Fi Rush.
Disco is an incredible political game that really is damn powerful. It’s definitely not for people who just want action.
Hi-Fi Rush is a rhythm action game so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who hate rhythm games or people who hate action. But it’s so fun, so charming and really uplifting.
I wouldn’t say a big find(and not in this exact video), but I loved Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, which is on sale for this event.
If you like numbery CRPGs with fun choices and great companions, give it a look. I knew very little about 40k going in and it made me a big fan of the entire universe when I never expected to be.
I can be overwhelming sometimes and definitely still buggy since a new DLC just came out, but an absolute timeless game in my opinion.
The reality is that it’s been 20 years since many of those “best games ever”. 20 years is a huge chunk of your working life. It’s just not realistic to keep the same people that whole time, or even a percentage of them.
People don’t want to think about the reality of it, they just want content to devour.
Hah! What an idiot.
I thought remake’s combat system was great and it was my game of the year when I came out. FF16 was also great for me, but it was never going to make everyone happy, it had far too many issues and was a focused action game.
Ff7 rebirth though- holy shit, it was just too fucking long. Too exhausting to play. So much shit to do it was overwhelming and SO, SO much filler. So many terrible, stupid story decisions undercutting emotional moments and jumping the shark on itself. I went from loving it because it was more remake to hating it because of many of the changes and the writing. Just…exhausting.
Square just seem like they are missing hard because FF16 was too focused, and FFRebirth is too big and up it’s own ass.
I do love last epoch a lot. It’s uniquely fun just because it’s doable just to make builds yourself and find enjoyable and good synergies and take those builds all the way to endgame.
Nice! Yeah I will do my own research when/if I decide to play them again on deck. Thank you for the heads up.
Is it pretty feasible to install kotor 2 restored content mod? I vaguely remember it being available on steam workshop.
Hmm okay, high TTK makes me more interested. I was a big fan of sombra too. I’ll def give it a chance when I get access.
I’ll admit I’m curious. If a friend of mine invited me I’d try it, but I worry my flick shooting isn’t good enough. I was always better at overwatch since it involved characters that could be played well without good shooting ability.
I took some time off work and powered through it for old times’ sake.
I enjoyed it! It definitely dragged at points, and there were more than few questionable story decisions, but the combat content (especially in the latter half) was much stronger than previous expansions. The high-level dungeons are a lot of fun and will keep many players on their toes.
The new classes are…okay. viper seems overly confusing for what is a relatively easy class, and picto is mostly fine, if not a bit too easy.
Thank you for the link! Always had only a vague understand of NFC communication.
Super-excited to play Runemaster on release. Been playing for years and still so much endgame stuff I haven’t touched. Here’s hoping the servers survive on Wednesday!
So this is a AA Studio that has been working on this game for a few years. They have some investments from outside companies (including tencent) so do with that what you will.
There IS a micro transaction store, with a bunch of cosmetic only items. I haven’t really glanced at these yet and we won’t know them all til release but I’m happy with the in-game drip currently.
I really enjoy the game and have been playing the early access for years. They aren’t selling quality of life like stash and space etc. like Path of Exile does. They also seem like a small but dedicated group of people who have always wanted to make this kind of game and have implemented/will implement many awesome ideas (great crafting, crazily customizeable skills, cool class designs).
They are a smaller studio so despite their prep, I would expect server failures on release day. They DO have an offline mode, but not for the current ‘Cycle’ (their seasons ala Diablo, PoE) so that will be playable on release even if servers are a mess and will have all cycle content as it releases (for now).
Really big fan of this game. If you want to give money to a studio for an ARPG, I would definitely recommend this one, or Grim Dawn.
Agreed, this is well written. It seems even more see obvious trump is a symptom because so many other trump-esque politicians are rising up and finding success across the globe in many other countries. Right-wing recessionism is really popular right now, but it’s mostly because the systems themselves seem largely without hope, and broken.
Makes sense! Yeah I have kind of slowed my roll on things that are JRPG or JRPG adjacent, probably from less time to play stuff mostly. I keep hearing how awesome Sea of Stars is though!
Astral ascent just got a new 2.0 update for like 10 bucks. Great little roguelite and I’m excited to play it again with the new content when I get home.
