I didn’t say it wasn’t real, it’s just a scripting structure and not object oriented, so it doesn’t make sense for it to start by looking for a “main” object
Julia is a regular nerd?
It really doesn’t. It’s a scripting language, functions are there but at it’s core it runs a script. The issue is that it was so easy to start with that people started doing everything in it, even though it sucks for anything past complex scripts
It is the excel of databases.
Nice! You get an invisible candy!
I powered on my computer, my app started, which started my main app, which started my essential apps, which started my app that I use to open my other app, which I use to go to my other app that I use to watch other apps being used by otgher people.
You will get an invisible candy if you can correctly decode this.
What do you expect? Half of these decision makers are complete idiots that are just good at making money and think that that means they are smarter than anyone who makes less than them. They then see some new hyped up tech, they chat with ChatGPT and they are dump enough to be floored by it’s “intelligence” and now they think it can replace workers but since it’s still early, they assume that it will quickly surpass the workers. So in their mind, firing ten programmers and saving like two million a year, while only spending maybe a few tens of thousands a year on AI will be a crazy success that will show how smart they are. And as time goes on and the AI gets better, they will save even more money. So why spend more money to help the programmers improve, when you can just fire them and spend a fraction of it on AI?
Mark my words, a decade from now vibe coding won’t be a thing because it will literally be calked regular coding and there will like “coding experts” or some shit that would basically be normal programmers that are good at it. And they will be tge only ones that can really solve novel problems.
Or, AI will actually get to a point of being a real programmer and not a (very cool but still just a) tool.
But just to cover my bases, it might also be neither.
Welcome to my TED talk on how to never be wrong!
If you have a tub full of water and a take a sip, you still have a tub full of water. Therefore only drink in small sips and you will have infinite water.
Water shortage is a scam.
Yeah? Try playing MYST VR with a quest 2 and Nvidia GPU.
I love Linux, but sometimes I just wanna pin it against the wall and make violent love to it until my issue is fixed. Though usually the love making is more of a frustrating 6 hours of troubleshooting.
BTW, are we allowed to sexualize an OS?
Probably a slightly higher stair in a staircase one day
seems reasonable to me, root is just a made up concept and the human owns the machine.
Stop with this stupid meme, it was false when it started and it is much more false now.
Linux has plenty of viruses, windows viruses are still functional under wine, and there are still the entire phishing and scam world.
I loved the eee series!
Ways to easily spot that this is fake:
Maybe he… Swaped them! 👍😎👌
IMO it feels like the Steam Deck was built with 3 goals in mind:
And the competition feels more like
Like, sure, better gpu and cpu and ram is great, but it’s kind of shit if the battery barely lasts or tge performance is worse because of lack of compatibility with Windows or the repairability is shit you need to buy a new device if it falls.
Ironicly it reminds me a bit of early android vs iphone. Where Iphone was built with real ingenuity and leading the market, while android was this mess of companies trying everything to “out compete” Apple. The irony being that tge steam deck is the open and inclusive one unlike the iphone.
Have you tried lighting it using a fire? That way the clouds don’t bother it
My setup is librewolf as main, ungoogled chromium as backup for problematic sites.
