Oh no, I get why they don’t know what one is. It just makes teaching coding to them very difficult.
And now the kids don’t know what a file path is anymore. Legit my wife is a professor, and she gets adeer in the headlight look when she is helping students debug code and she mentions a file path not being right in there code.
Serious response, no joke… what’s a file path?
These are sophomores and Juniors in college.
Realistically, what could a company do with the data? I can see how it could be dangerous in the hands of a nation state if someone is a politician. But otherwise, besides the gross privacy violation, im not sure I see what real harm will come of this.
That’s the crazy thing. So many Republicans in congress have said they are afraid for their safety if they go against Trump. He’s got the government in a vice grip. They clearly don’t agree with how far he’s gone, they’ve said as much privately, but refuse to vote against him in bills bcz Trump followers at this point are crazy.
That’s not a bad idea actually.
They see what he’s doing as a problem. Isn’t that enough? We can deal with the other bullshit later. Let’s try to avoid full blown fascism first and death camps.
I don’t think removing a corporation from existence would fix anything. We have a capitalist system killing the planet that has been extended to basically every country on the planet thanks to U.S. hegemony (which thankfully is coming to an end)
Yeah, he came to do a rally where I live, and my first thought was, man, I don’t want to be within 5 miles of that douchesnozzel.
Don’t we have bigger problems than his suit color?
This is not okay.
He wants to implement martial law. They’re pushing hoping that someone gets violent so they can roll in the tanks.
I didn’t take it out, I sold the whole thing and bought foreign stocks. So I wasn’t investing in rhe U.S. market.
This is a far cry from the U.S. relations going into the toilet for crap like this in the past. Oh how far we’ve fallen.
Never admit you’re wrong, that’s the first rule of being fascist.
Im familiar, i used to work for one of the three auto companies in the engineering side.
They got themselves into this mess in 2008 by switching their entire fleet lineup to big trucks, and they did it again in 2025. I don’t feel bad for companies that don’t learn from their mistakes.
I pulled my entire 401k from the market in hopes that it would increase the sell-off. Fuck around and find out stage is where we are. Dude wants to go full fascist. Well, the only thing fascists understand is economics, so that’s where we will hit them.
Sadly, it will affect us too, but, id rather be poor than sitting in a camp somewhere for disagreeing with the government.
Premeditated has a specific legal definition. He went back to his truck and came back with a gun. I would find it a hard sell to say that wasn’t premeditated if I was on a jury.
How does going back to your vehicle and retrieving a n assault rifle count as self defense? That’s premeditated at that point if he were to use it.
The difference between this, and any other mass shooting is just whether this guy decided to pull the trigger, which he obviously wanted too.
Does he think people will weekly slink away back to their houses and shake in their boots about what Trump will do next? This will only further inflame tensions. This guy wants to Crack down, thinks he can suspend the constitution, and rule with impunity, but what he’s really gonna get is a civil war. Everybody loses in a civil war. Fucking countries like Russia, Iran, and anyone else who hates us are probably reveling in the current situation.
