Which states will dismantle their marijuana programs and which won’t? Which states will allow employers to discriminate against gay people for example when it’s no longer a federal thing? Are the red states going to refuse to take people’s guns when Trump ways to? So many questions.

Sims 3 is better than sims 4 but sims 4 runs better on shittier hardware. Sims 4 doesn’t have an open world to the degree sims 3 does so it doesn’t have to process every sim walking around in the entire world and their unoptimized pathfinding at all times.

Perhaps now in the age of higher single core cpu clock speeds, maybe it’s not as bad.

Look at the way the fcc has banned encryption over ham radio networks in the US. No one cares because it’s ham radio and who tf uses that but it is still a working playbook, they just have to make it work on a larger scale. The most viable way is to do something like that. Make it so that only corporations and banks who fork over licensing money are lawfully allowed to have encryption and any average Joe caught using encrypted packets goes to jail.

I think I might be on to something that contributes to the problem. The built-in “KoboldGPT chat” option puts some example queries in its context memory. They aren’t very long responses so I think it’s just seeing that and using it as a guideline for what to say which results in shorter answers.

If I use the “new chat” option instead of “KoboldGPT chat”, it makes it so that nothing is in the context. No prompt and no memory. This way when I tell it to write 500 words of crap, it doesn’t quite write that much but it’s a lot better than before. Pressing enter to make it generate more text works more often this way too.

I tried to help my brother, who is a computer scientist to install windows 11 on his new am5 motherboard build. Am5 was really new and even with our combined knowledge it took all day of fucking with it to find a way to get windows 11 to recognize the m2 ssd. We had to load it with an older driver from the manufactures website and we had to do some kind of shenanigans to get the installer to actually recognize the files. Iirc this was a gigabyte motherboard, a reputable brand.

This was when am5 was newer so it’s kind of understandable I guess, but I also installed arch for troubleshooting purposes that day and it only took 30 minutes 🤷

I agree except for the crafting lol. I love being able to be like “you know what, fuck society” and building up my skills to find ways to make my own stuff without paying in-game money for it. I guess too many games have crafting mechanics that do suck though so you are right about that.
