Oh it’s not one tech demo, it’s several. They aren’t connected. If they aren’t connected it isn’t a game. People just don’t want to admit they were scammed when they “bought” that fancy ship in that “game”.

I didn’t even know that game existed until I saw headlines saying it failed. It wasn’t marketed well and I would bet that was on purpose. I think they knew it was terrible, why else wouldn’t they try to sell it?
It’s easy to ignore actually. Where game? I don’t care how pretty your tech demo is. Where game?
Based on the history of the company I say: bullshit.
I’m happy for you if you do, I just can’t justify spending what publishers are asking most of the time. Every now and then a title comes along that for me is worth it, those times are getting more and more infrequent as the prices climb.

I won’t really climb a clock tower with an Uzi.
I made the switch to mint a few months ago. Its astounding to me just how slowly windows boots and I never noticed until I made the switch.
You got me, Lemmy. I caught the Linux from you and I can’t go back.
That’s not possible. Everything on the internet is super serious.
I’m not mad I just don’t trust the Devs of Star Citizen. I think their monetization as a whole reeks of a scam and I don’t understand why people defend it.
