Legend has it, that some friends of mine where stoned at night and thought it was a good idea to drive with their car to the nearest burger place. When they past a roundabout they thought it would be funny to drive around it backwards in rear gear. What had to happen, happened: they crashed with another car going through the roundabout. Not much damage done luckily. Police comes and after some time, tells my friends they are free to go. Apparently the other driver was drunk as hell and swore that they drove backwards in the roundabout but the police didn’t believe a word he said, because he was so drunk.

Isn’t it proof enough? Using the Sudoku example: there are certainly different levels of difficulties, depending on how many numbers are set in the beginning and other parameters. Checking if the solved answer is correct, is always the same “difficulty” - thus there is no correlation between the difficulty of the puzzle at the beginning and checking the Correctness. Some people might not be able to solve it, but they certainly can check if the solution is right

Seems like I will have to find a way to move my vault to another password manager. I hope I can find a way of doing this safely without needing to do that manually… So I am grateful for any advice!

I’m actually trying to be very careful with my data, to the point where I get sidelooks from some people who don’t care at all. Yet I try to still be able to use the services I want to. Like Google Maps. I know that I am selling my data to them. But the service helps me so much in my everyday life that I am willing to pay this price. But also I use AdBlock on all of my devices. So I really don’t care too much about advertising. I’m more concerned about other consequences like, individual pricing, or change of government to a dictatorship which would prosecute me for my beliefs I posted online, or Netflix not fuing finishing the series because they already calculated that they wouldn’t make as much fuing money as they would like to.

I support the idea, but I’m really skeptical. I bought the fairphone 2 when it came out and it just couldn’t keep up anymore after 2 years. My understanding was that there would be upgradable modules but the only thing I got was a little bit better camera and case.

It would be great if there wouldn’t be the need for more and more models but simply better modules to upgrade with the time.
