This takes time, one where a Bernie-AOC presidency can enable. Bernie and AOC, unlike the likes of Pelosi, will allow younger and progressive people to take leadership roles throughout government. It will take at least 10 years to replace the old guard - a two term progressive presidency just isn’t enough for that sort of generational shift.

I would like both Bernie and AOC to run for president, each with the other as their VP. Either winning would improve America.

Ideally, we get Bernie-AOC for 2028 and 2032, then AOC + ??? for 2036 and 2040. This nation is in dire need of dedicated progressive leadership, considering how far right the ship has tilted.
