About a year. It was a really toxic relationship. It started when I was 20 and my ex was about 26. I was enamored of them and they took advantage of this to reel me in, then manipulate me.
Warning: mildly entertaining breakup story follows.
We actually split up because we were fighting about living together. We had been together for about four years. They had never moved out of their parent’s place so, at almost 30, had no experience with housing or self sufficiency. They wanted to find an upscale house being let for about the price of a 1 bedroom apartment. Seriously, I’m not exaggerating. After three months of looking with no housing miracles in sight, I tried to impress upon them that what they wanted wasn’t going to happen. They got very upset. When I asked them to come over so we could discuss, they did - and broke it off.
20 years later, I can recognize what a massive favor they did for me. To be fair, I was also crazier than a sack of cats, but who in their early twenties isn’t? I hit therapy hard and got myself straightened out. Highly recommended.
I didn’t have to vet your profile at all to figure out you’re worth blocking. You did all the work for me.
I made a mistake: point three was dripping with sarcasm, so I followed with a line meant to highlight this, but I unthinkingly wrote it in the same highly sarcastic manner.
Do you actually just assume random people are racist for zero reason in your day to day life?
I have no idea what you’re trying to infer. Please tell me this isn’t a prelude to “all racism has some truth to it”.
Things that break immersion for some gamers:
Main character isn’t a white cishet male
NPCs that don’t reinforce the primacy of white cishet males
Acceptance of non-cis/het people in a story involving fantasy creatures that is otherwise totally believable, well-written, and, above all, where only this scene is clumsily delivered (and not the fact the supporting character’s hat appears to be a folded bird)
No sarcasm in the third point at all. (Edit: That’s more sarcasm where I’m indicating I’m being sarcastic in point three)
Holy shit, you’re right. I’ve been wondering if/when we’d get a Hindenburg equivalent, but you nailed it. We already have one.

Pistachios, because almonds aren’t actually nuts. They’re drupes
Sorry, late night me brain forgot to provide the context for my comment! My concern would be occupational usage if it does produce any ozone, especially in the small business sector, which often doesn’t use as much caution around chemical exposure as one might want.
It might also be a non-issue. I have half a mind to build one of these and do some testing.
Chronic ozone exposure is a big deal.

Ozone reacts with various molecules in the lung to produce free radicals, highly reactive species of atoms/molecules that cause tissue damage.

On the bright side, you’re right about being able to smell it. The permissible exposure limit in the United States is 0.1 ppm (over eight hours) but the concentration most people can detect ranges from 0.01-0.05 ppm.
Don’t forget that they need to work until dying!
Hope you’re moving to the PNW. We need more good people here.
I had the same experience! It HAD to have been astroturfing. The reviews were simply glowing but it’s honestly one of the worst books I’ve ever read. It’s not even so bad it’s good, it’s just page upon page of cringe cliche.
I became curious if you had been in Vegas when you mentioned billboards with lawyers. That’s a Las Vegas peculiarity (although it may be a peculiarity elsewhere). Where I live in the States has no billboards and it’s great.
I also had a good Sea of Stars cry. Totally worth playing. It sounds like DLC for it will drop in 2025 too.
Same, and I’m sorry. It was Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage for me. I remember realizing my father was an idiot at an earlier age than I might have otherwise because the arguments those two morons made were obviously so, so bad yet he just ate it all up.
I think NPR does a good job providing talk radio type material that isn’t repellant to people with critical thinking skills.
Do you consider their offerings substantially different than talk radio?
If you’re extra lucky, it’ll still be running on the original included demo toner cartridge.
DON’T U LOVE FREEDUM?!
Often they only want the illusion of output, just enough to keep the profits eternally rising.
