I only had an underpowered laptop that could barely play modern games.
I would like to point out that not all modern games have stupidly high requirements, and I might argue that the ones that do could actually optimise their shit to work on lower spec machines.
Yeah, bar progress is sus
Ah, gotcha, makes sense.
Not trying to be a dick, but how is it different? From your description of what you were missing it sounds like exactly the same thing.
Currently I still find it too much of a hastle to correctly run Winblows applications, almost always relying on Lutris, Steams proton or Bottles to do the work for me.
That’s…uhhh… that’s why they were made? So that your average Joe Schmoe, like myself and you, doesn’t have to muddle through trying to get wine set exactly right so that the windows program functions. It sounds like you’re complaining about the solution to the problem.
I guess there could be work done to just make it so if you double click on a .exe install file in just boots whatever has the best install preset, or give you a pop up with options for lutris/proton/bottles.
Or had a lot of time, and have streamlined their setup to the point that they don’t spend nearly any time on the fiddly bits, because they now have next to no time.
But even they eventually tacked goofy controllers onto an Android tablet and printed money by being the only console you can play on a bus.
There was a bit of hope from Sony with the PSP and then the Vita, but they didn’t seem to push it to the logical next step, like Nintendo did. Which was foolish, like the Vita had the PSTV version, and it was a bonehead move not to follow through with the trajectory they were already on.
radical groomer trams agenda.
A streetcar named Desiree?
😏
He’s a symptom of the problem
And they do it because it works. It builds good will, shows that the product is high quality, clean and pure.
I like that indie games are bringing demos back. Like actually playable demos, not like a tech demo, the first 1-5 levels, so you can get a proper feel for the game before you shell out. 6 of the last 9 demos I played in the past year resulted in me purchasing the game.
Yeah, I get that. For a domestic flight, a loooot of these complications just go away. That said, could still be extremely expensive. Likely significantly more expensive than taking a scenic multiple day drive that your dog will absolutely love hopping out in strange places and peeing to claim it as no dog has before!
First of all, yes it’s a hentai game. You can believe it’s
formy girlfriend or not.
😏
No judgement bud. Nothing to add but a bit of cheekyness.
These two Behind the Bastards episodes are about Curtis Yarvin, but there’s a significant connection with JD Vance…just like it says on the tin.

Like I replied to someone else FL has been “running well in wine” for ages now. I’ve just never managed to get it functioning at all, like I wasn’t having audio issues or anything…because the one click wouldn’t work for me, and manually setting it never worked for me either. It’s been about 2 years now since I tried, and this recall bullshit means that if I can’t get it running I’ll just switch to something else and change my workflow.
FL studio has “worked well in wine” for ages now, I’ve never managed to get it properly functioning. Like I said, I’ll give it another try, not willing to have recall running on my machines.
I have an alt on .ca, I find there’s a pretty good mix of beliefs there. And a fair number less tankies than where this alt I’m on is…
