I’ve tried to get my friends consolidated in one app in the past, but have given up. I prefer Discord, but use a combo of that and Slack, Signal, GroupMe, IG, FB Messenger, SMS, email, and probably some others I’m forgetting about. Discord is the only one I directly open, the others I’ll just rely on notifications.
Used Chrome forever, switched to Firefox back when this stuff first started going down. No ragerts.

Anecdotally, the Seattle Public Library is currently recovering from a ransomware attack and still has major systems offline. Of all targets, a public library is a pretty major low.

I still haven’t had to update a Twitter logo on a website yet. We’ve had it come up for 3 clients so far, and they’ve all just decided to drop it. You love to see it.
My pharmacy can’t even get Libre 3 sensors, so I’m stuck with Libre 2 and the software has been incredibly broken, even on iOS 16. 2-star review on the App Store.
Thankfully, my diabetes is managed well enough the alarms aren’t critical to me. But it’s really surprising how bad the software is for one of the most popular glucose monitors.
What changed after the switch? I kept subscribing since the music + YouTube video was well worth the value for me, and haven’t noticed a change.
Any incentive to stop supporting AMP sounds like a positive for the web to me.
