Taking off my shoes at the entrance of my home and get out of street clothes.

Hmmm I’d say that the worst felt/feels at times, like an electric shock that keeps going until it disipates and I can stop and sob for a bit so I can sort of function after it.

The best felt like a burst of heat and warmth that first time and now the memory of it feels like basking in the sun while humming something nice.

So I think they are both impactful in different ways. One completely incapacitates me because of how awful it was but the other gives me strength to keep on loving my life and keep finding the beauty in everyday things.

Yes. My own family visited for Christmas.

Yes I was, my parents wanted me to practice my english. I lived with a family in Indiana for a bit and then lived with another familly in North Dakota. Both families were different but I liked the one in Bismarck better, the girls from the Muncie family were mean to me the whole time. My parents booked the experience through a private agency, not really sure how that worked (it was the nineties). ETA: I was 12 years old when I started the exchange and went back to my home country at 15

Big family gatherings. I did not particularly enjoyed them growing up (I come from big extended families) but when I became a parent they were unbereable so I just stopped attending. I couldn’t fathom to subject my child to all that nonsense. Best decision ever! While cousins fight over who brings what side dish for Christmas I will be relaxing in a hammock by the beach, thank you very much.

I share this sentiment. School was such a drag and I miss nothing about it.

Oh sad face. It is one of my favorite books and also think the movie is a piece of art.

Never read it, just some parts here and there because a girlfriend was reading it and it was hilarious LOL The descriptions are supposed to be sexy or alluring or god knows what but they are so cringey! It took me a bit to understand that my friend was reading it seriously.

Plus it makes it feel like a game, kinda. I hate doing the dishes, but can I finish before the pot boils over? I load folding laundry but can I do it before my show is over? Etc

There is a very skittish mare that I leave alone because of said skittishness. Today while browsing my phone I was leaning on the stall wall right by her not paying attention when suddenly she came up and put her head next to mine in a “what are we looking at” kind of gesture. She stayed there for a bit while I was trying my best to stay still and not let my excitement show too much. It made me feel special.

“The teachings of Don Juan” by Carlos Castaneda. Read it in highschool and it put me off psychedelics for more than two decades.

“The shutter” the original asian one. I remember watching it when it came out and loved it. ETA and the original Halloween of course but I also liked Rob Zombie’s version of it.

Ufff Toni Colette was great in it! It is one of my favorite movies too.

Thin crust, pesto instead of tomato sauce, frrsh figs drizzled with.balsamic, feta cheese, arugula OR Little C’s pepperoni. There is no in between.
