  • Awwh damn, sorry you lost your group of homies to a goober :( I’m glad you had other friends at the time though~ Losing everyone because of one goob sucks.

It’s not always easy to accept these behaviours though. Even after my aunt’s radical statement, I needed a lot of introspection in order to find, well, reality lol. Jesus Christ take me back

I concur with your conclusion, but I also love to balance it with a paraphrased quote who’s origin I don’t recall…

Never trust someone who says they’ve never stolen

It has two sides: Humans are corruptable, but we are also redeemable. It helps me put the humanity back on people my brain would otherwise villanize. I’m ever the optimistic ideallist though. :p

  • If you are exposed to lies and manipulations a lot, maybe you developed a defence mechanism against language.

I have, and for example my boss loves to fist-bump me and compliment my work. This means nothing to me because I know he’s a POS scum human through his actions.

My aunt is one of the loveliest people in the world, yet she let slip once that she befriends people because they’re useful to her. She’s nothing but smiles and good gestures, yet it’s only to use and discard you, as I’ve observed throughout her life. She meant it. Thanks, wine.

My father is in jail for basically being Andrew Tate.

Compliments can be real, and they definitely feel more real when they’re still expressed behind your back, but from my experience humans are generally playing a shitty social game. That’s why rude people are so great - you’re actively putting yourself at a disadvantage in our relationship just to express yourself? Fuck yeah, preach your feelings buddy!

  • Mayhaps. My brain becomes mush when multiple people talk to me, so all the laptop information in my brain disappeared. I awkwardly followed the conversation and ended up buying what was suggested since the only thing on my mind I could think was “I need a laptop”

I was looking for a little notebook. I needed something for work that was very portable, but this is clunky and heavy. Good for thwackin’ I guess.

I normally buy online just to avoid this, but I wanted to check out the local store for convenience. It was an ambush I’m telling ya!

  • idk if this is sarcasm, but there’s tons of real players in Slither.io it’s one of my favorite games to de-stress :)

You can tell bots from people by observing the snakes. Bots are wiggly and prioritize nearby orbs. ~700 orbs they begin their adventure to the red wall to deposit their orbs. These snakes also have reoccurring names like Popular MMO, The White Rabbit

Real players will have a more straightened pathing, probably following a sequence of orbs if they’re not dashing and making it obvious. They also aren’t programmed to kill themselves, so any snake above 1k that isn’t moving straight to the wall is a real player.

Pro MLG players will be zooming to one of the many clusters on the map in the hopes that they can steal orbs from bigger snakes if they aren’t already circling as the big snakes. You’ll likely notice these players as tiny snakes desperately dashing in a straight line.

You can see the many servers here: https://ntl-slither.com/ss/

  • Sure, but the mistakes aren’t the main issue, it’s that AI is just a tool that by extention can be abused by the humans in control. You have no idea what rules they give it and what false positives result from it.

My primary concern here is that it’s Blizzard, whom love to gargle honey for China and is all for banning players that speak against them, is in charge of this AI.

Blizzard’s previously talked about using AI to verify reports of disruptive voice chat, which is now running in most regions, though not globally. The developer says it has seen this technology “correct negative behavior immediately, with many players improving their disruptive behavior after their first warning.”

Great, they can auto-ban players like Ng Wai Chung, I guess. For whatever they subjectively deem ‘harmful’. There’s also the looming idea that a friend can wander in my room, say something dumb, and now I’m closer to a ban because of an unrelated choice I made outside the game.

And we definitely trust Blizard to be good with all the audio data they get to harvest. That won’t be abused later, right?

  • Sounds like a lot of misconceptions have been given.

You don’t need to get any weird joycon, you definitely have everything you need. Either a right-joycon or a paperclip.

I’ve done both (and broke my spare JC in the process). I recommend the paperclip. [2:24 tutorial]

What’s simply happening is you’re sending power to a specific pin on your switch. When it gets power and you press the special dev-buttons (Minus-Volume & Power) it goes black and can be exploited with some tech-wizardry.

There’s some cool stuff like themes, homebrew, mods… Been playing Smash Ultimate online for years with mods. However, if you have the means on PC the actual gaming experience over the Switch is typically better and easier to get into.
