You ask an LLM to code something and then just run the code blind without reading it and if it seems to work, publish the application. You can imagine how many performance and security problems it produces.

Laws and terms are for the poor. I am sure big players like miHoYo, Niantic and Game Freak (Pokemon Go/Scarler/Violet) already have their own agreements and would not be affected by this.

16·3 years agoThat’s the difference, they hoard wealth and not currency. The value of assets do not go down when currency loses its value with inflation.
Wealthy have little to no cash that would lose value with inflation, they just buy everything on credit and have their wealth tied to assets and investments that probably gain value at least at the pace of inflation.

2·3 years agoI have become so clumsy with the wires, it was less wasteful for me to buy wireless earbuds with wire only between them. The modern codecs are high quality and I only use them outside, so the nuance would be anyway lost.
Smart speakers I do not have. I feel weird talking to devices and I would have to do it in English because they support my native language poorly if at all. I’m not sure if they even are officially available here.
Everything unnecessarily connected to the Internet should have this on them, because they have very little security auditing and all support is dropped very early on the lifetime of the appliance. https://kissa.depili.fi/internet_asbestos_52x32_cmyk.pdf
I have had some people refuse to even try Baba Is You, because it looks ugly.
I had The Hex a few years even installed, so I have tried it, but only after getting familiar with the style of Daniel Mullins’ games with Inscryption I pushed far enough to get interested. Still very clunky, but worth it.

1·3 years agoI have never been good at remembering lyrics and often kind of ignore them. I have been surprised multiple times about what songs that I have listened for a while are about when the lyrics finally click in my head.
I enjoy more the sound of the artist and in good music you don’t need to understand the words for the emotion to come through.
Like Memories of Dust is one of the most emotional songs even though the lyrics are in [human language]

2·3 years agoFor me also. Eurovision has been very meh for me, but this year I actually liked many of the songs and Germany really didn’t deserve the last place in finals.
I don’t like the style Käärijä’s albums are produced, but live he is awesome. Cha cha is even better when he can do his own thing instead of worrying the choreography.
I’m not sure what you mean. Do you have a source for more complete explanation?
H.261 is way older than Doom and already uses motion compensation and inter-picture prediction.
The aformentioned demos work by recording all input control states for every tic and then replaying them later in-engine. But I don’t think that parallels video encoding.
EDIT: Sorry, I misread. But yeah, Doom does not send deltas but the multiplayer also works by sending those same input states every tic that demo recording saves.
Exceptions actually have a huge performance hit, you should only use them in a HALT EVERYTHING IMMEDIATELY situations and never in anything that could be called repeatedly. We have refactored few of those to be 10-100 times faster by just returning success: false instead of throwing and catching exceptions.

I guess they were referring to this.
