  • I don’t live in the US so I don’t have a horse in this race

But it just seems like half of the people here can’t qualify Biden’s successes (and why he’d be worth a second voting for again) and the other half are just scared that Trump is on his way back and therefore the Dems need to vote like crazy to keep him out, regardless of how lacklustre his current term was.

I’ll say it here: he lost the popular vote with his unequivocal support for Israel. As a self proclaimed Zionist, he chose Israel’s genocide of Gaza over Trump’s victory and too many voters are going to remember that over whatever he’s going to promise (which so far is nothing; his campaign so far is just reminding everyone that the other guy exists).

There’s no way Dems win this one, unless Biden cedes to a more worthwhile candidate.

  • I mean looking at it upon first glance, it looks fine?

I mean, what’s “10 years old” anyway? “Vampire Survivors” came out in 2023, has retro graphics and plays really well. Arkham City came out in 2011 and still holds up well graphically today, especially considering Gotham knights is a thing lmao.

I’m not too crazy about the look of the game, but it has to play well. Starfield feels like an old game to play because all those loading screens aren’t something I’m expecting in 2023. The cumbersome inventory management and poor decisions make it feel like it came out over 10 years ago.

A lot of scrutiny on this title. Any criticism will be well deserved, good or bad.

  • I was the same. Reading all these Lemmy posts thinking “with my Firefox and uBlock I’m still cruising YouTube ad free” until last night when I finally saw this. Refreshing the filter list on uBlock does the trick but it sucks that it requires closing all your tabs. There were so many things I queued up that I was never going to get to, now I don’t even know what they were!

I could’ve bookmarked the tabs into a single tab folder and then restored them once I refreshed? Yeah I don’t care that much, but I do do that on occasion.
