Lovely looking pie! I’ve been doing cast iron pizzas for some time now. You can cut your cooking time down by 10-15 min if you do the following:

Start cooking on stove: burner on high for ~4-5 min to set the dough. When you first turn the burner on, also turn on the broiler.

Toss it under the broiler for another ~5min or until your cheese crisps up just the way you like it.

The higher heat of the stove and broiler (even though it’s not at the same time) mimics the super hot pizza ovens a bit better (imo).

Robotics (or more broadly mechatronics) is a super interesting field. To do the work at the mechanical/electrical interface is really hard.

The field of industrial controls skips the hard part and just buys stuff that is pre-designed to move. Then those pre-designed pieces are made to fit and work together. It’s like complicated Legos and is honestly very fun and rewarding.

If you want to do programming with a physical result, controls engineering is a great option. I would recommend shooting for the hard stuff (real programming - DSP, FPGA, etc) knowing you’ve got a safe fallback with industrial controls (PLC programming).

Ahh fantastic point. There isn’t really an incentive for the individuals to maintain/perpetuate the institution.

I don’t agree with this. Shareholders extracting value from a company is arguably more of an ‘inefficency’ than treating employees fairly. Well treated employees provide a benefit to the company while shareholders purely remove resources.

I have no data to back up my claim, just logic, so I could very well be wrong.

The campaign connected just fine with the college educated working class. It didn’t connect with the highschool or less education working class. IMO it seems the big party divide today is higher education.

Working class should refer to people whose income is primarily derived from selling their labor vs the value of their assets.

We need to start using the term working class correctly.

I understand your frustration, and I think he is guilty of the things he is accused of also. I still think the justice department made the correct democratic decision of setting the precedent that the executive branch does not prosecute political figures when the electorate has a chance to make that decision.

I hate that the electorate decided that none of those offenses were damning enough to flush that turd, but that’s democracy. He won the popular vote and it’s up to those of us unhappy with the result to convince others that we need better leadership.

The justice dept went easy on Trump because it sets a very dangerous precedent for the current administration to use the power of the justice dept on political rivals. He was removed from office and his actions were investigated and displayed to the public. Under normal circumstances, those actions should make it so he cannot run again. The electorate are designed to be the check on political power, but it failed.

I fear elections no longer have that check. I do however believe the justice department made the right decision. I don’t think it should criminally prosecute political rivals, because then we end up with situations like Nivalny dieing in prison. The justice department played it’s role by exposing all of the criminal behavior, the electorate did not by allowing someone that dangerous back into power.

I mean, even with a union, if a company crumbles the laborers are out of a job.

The interesting thing about the court is their power comes from our belief in their legitimacy. They don’t have any repercussions if the executive and legislature completely ignores their rulings.

It’s a double edged sword. If they allow this to happen, democracy crumbles under a new admin. If they do anything to deter authoritarians getting into power is technically anti-democratic too.

Either this admin undermines the belief in democracy by stopping an authoritarian administration to participate in elections or they allow the authoritarians to run and hope the electorate aren’t complete idiots (in a voting system rigged towards the authoritarians via the electoral college).

This is the way.

Hard to tell if this is a proposal to fight over hardware or an offer for free stuff.
