I don’t know, that’s just how I learned it in school so it feels natural for me to use/say.
This post kinda stinks of “why doesn’t the US just switch to metric? Are they stupid?”

There are games like Half Sword, Hellish Quart and Blade Symphony (and maybe to an extent Exanima) that are built around “realistic”/physica-based sword/melee combat (idk about Half Sword as that’s basically QWOP Knights, but there can still be plenty of skill involved).
I spilled a freshly ground full grinder on the floor of the garage last week for the very first time. I was (and still kinda am) incredibly upset, and I immediately jumped up to try and salvage what I could.
Surprisingly I saved most of it, then I went over it with a dryer sheet over the vacuum hose to get every last bit. There were a couple hairs but I could easily pick them out.
I’m still upset with myself for doing that though.
One review I just read on steam said “great if you have dad game hours”
Super Troopers
From “The Snozzberries taste like Snozzberries!” to “BEARFUCKER! DO YOU NEED ASSISTANCE?!” almost every line in that movie is quotable and relevant to most situations.
I’ve already put in a couple hundred hours across a couple different playthroughs. It’s really fun.
Dud you’ll have people posting shit in steam forums who haven’t even bought the game bitching and moaning.
I saw a post on the forum for a game I’ve been playing recently and it was “One Year Anniversary: never forget the dev added a pronoun selector at character creation. Never buying this garbage.”
Game in question is Lunacid, and apparently the dev added the pronoun selector specifically to bait the trolls. And the pronouns are literally never used in any capacity. It’s just flavor text.
ETA: I believe steam forums should be locked unless you’ve bought the game in question and played for at least like an hour or so. The damn points shop makes you play your games for at least 2 hours before you can get any of that useless shit, so why not the forums?
You’ve most likely heard him in just about every game from 2009-2014
There’s a McDonald’s down the block from me that plays nothing but Christian music all the damn time. I honestly feel bad for the employees.
About your last point, I’ve been trying to make it a habit that I replace it with “brother” or something whenever I’m singing along.
Get everything animal style at In-N-Out
Five Guys is way overpriced imo. Sure they fuck you up with fries, but it’s not worth the almost $30 for a single person to eat there.
In-N-Out, on the other hand, is like $12-13 for a combo for one person and it’s goddamn delicious every time.
It looks like V Rising with Eldritch monsters and deities
Where are you getting this idea that American game devs all make the safest most harmless games possible?
GTA is an American-made game franchise and it’s one of the most violent and insulting mainstream titles ever, made by Rockstar, an American company.
On the other side, Tt Games, which makes all the Lego titles of the past 20 years, is a UK-based dev studio. They’re some of the safest, least offensive games ever made.
It didn’t already?
The 360 avatars were way better than the Xbox One avatars. They leaned a little too far into realism for cartoony characters.
Plus the amount of bullshit customization meant you could make almost anything you wanted. Poofesure on YouTube’s main Mii is named Beef Boss and his face looks like a hamburger.
When the Check Mii Out channel was a thing, I remember spending hours there just looking at all the crazy characters people had made. Peter Griffin, Batman, I’m pretty sure I saw a Ninja Turtle at one point.
Imagine Hit & Run 3 being a Simpson’s GTA clone, complete with combat and weapons.
When I was a kid I could never make it past the last mission with the school bus in Lisa’s level, so I’ve never actually finished H&R before.
I still get choked up over Kevin Conroy (THE Batman voice from like 1990-2022 when he died, and even a few things after), but I don’t think I actually cried about it.
Same with Chance Perdomo who was Ambrose from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Andre from Gen V. He just had a presence and charisma to him that I really liked. Also Anton Yelchin.
