  • So basically, “there’s no way Qualcomm is buying Intel” because:

    While

unnamed sources told the Wall Street Journal for a report published Friday. CNBC also said it heard the same thing: That Qualcomm contacted Intel about a potential takeover in recent days.

They argue this can’t be true because

details regarding the alleged acquisition plans, which are apparently far from certain, are razor thin to say the least. This could be nothing more than Qualcomm wanting to talk to Intel about possibilities.

The Register asked Intel and Qualcomm for a response. Intel declined. Qualcomm is saying nothing. So instead, we’ll emphasize that the logistics of such a bombshell acquisition would be far from trivial if not nigh-on impossible.

    And

As of writing, Qualcomm’s market cap is $188 billion, just more than double that of Intel’s at $93 billion.

And even if Intel’s board agreed whatever offer may emerge, getting regulatory approval – persuading the US, UK, EU, and others… – may not be its only hurdle.

    Not to mention

Chipzilla may not be worth much to Qualcomm unless it can renegotiate the x86/x86-64 cross-licensing patent agreement between Intel and AMD, which dates back to 2009. That agreement is terminated if a change in control happens at either Intel or AMD. There are also prior pacts between AMD and Intel.

    Even though

a number of the aforementioned patents expired in 2021, it’s our understanding that agreement is still in force and Qualcomm would be subject to change of control rules.

Qualcomm wouldn’t be able to produce Intel-designed x86-64 chips unless AMD gave the green light.

  • ITT: omg how other people don’t see what I, a very smart and superior person who browses technology communities, have known for years

Genuinely, who doesn’t know/suspect this, do you know anyone? I don’t think it’s about superiority at all.

I don’t know literally anyone who doesn’t know or atleast expect this, even normies have the concepts of NSA/Big Brother spying on everything.

Literally even my tech illiterate parents know/suspect that you aren’t private anywhere.

Edit: and if you do know anyone who is ignorant to this…will they find this article/report and read it?

  • Then you’re letting sentiment drive you rather than reason.

So you wouldn’t want the genocide to end if it came at the cost of someone killing themselves? Why?

Is the entire Palestinian population who are suffering a genocide worth less than a western life to you?

But I refuse to allow that someone’s opinion should be given more weight than mine just because they mutilate or kill themselves.

His opinion holds more weight than yours because he is right and you are attacking a martyr rather than focusing on the cause he was martyrd for.

Their mental disorder doesn’t confer moral superiority, it detracts from it.

Your insistence that they must be mentally ill/disorderd doesn’t negate moral superiority, it only further reveals your apologist mindset.

  • And your time would be better spent electing better leaders instead of setting yourself on fire.

So I take it this totally isn’t just your excuse/rationalization for attacking someone actually willing to take action against genocide and you will be following through on your idea?

So which candidate will you elect who opposes the genocide?..

Anyone who tacitly supports the genocide and doesn’t do everything in their power to bring an end to and oppose the genocide is culpable.

There is no form of protest against ongoing genocide which can be deemed “too extreme” because any form of protest will pale in comparison to the genocide.

  • The people who need help are the ones who can sit by and criticize people for their opposition to a genocide.

It’s not some silly game. Our lives are not more meaningful than Palestinians, this is awful, but it pales in comparison to what we are putting Palestine through.

For some people, not taking any action they can to try and stop the genocide, no matter how hopeless, is worse than death. When the pain becomes unbearable…

This man is a martyr and a hero, and he didn’t kill himself, the US and Israel killed him in the name of their genocide.

  • He was similarly just an online personality (YouTuber, funny commentary)just like Drew Gooden, until recently it was revealed he hooked up with a minor, knowing they were a minor (like 9 years ago or so)

It’s funny because a couple months ago someone would have left a similar comment as you about him being included, but now he belongs with those other “evil” people.
