Jellyfin on arch behind nginx. I connect with VPN, through NAT or on the local network. What else to say? I have noticed that syncplay is significantly more reliable through nginx. Not sure why that is. But it is still fragile. I’ve had this issue unresolved so long that I am just living with it. If it works, great. If it doesn’t, then i don’t use it.
Clients: firefox, jellyfin client, chrome, android client. The issue is pretty consistent across them all.
I mostly keep 8bit AVC/ACC, 2-channel mp4s. Some h265 as well. I have not noticed a pattern. Syncplay seem agnostic to encodings and filetypes.
I get the feeling that i am far from alone on this issue. There are threads out there.
Jellyfin ia great! But syncplay breaks if you snease.
The issues are probably gonna pop up when teachers and students bring incompatible ms office documents from home, and start complaining. Excel is the one I have run in to most, not always being compatible with libreoffice.
Once they figure out chatgpt can walk them through the process of installation, it becomes easy to learn and I bet they will become linux lovers.
In the same vane, I can also save by geting rid of my home, car, job, investments, spouse and start eating dirt instead of food. I’d be homeless and misserable. But I’d have no expenses right now. Would it make me wealthier? No. What about later? Again, no. In fact I will quickly get poorer.
He is running the department of shutting down whatever Musk personally dislikes. Enabling corruption, extracting data for hostile foreign interests and loosing the peoples and contrys wealth.
US makes alot of entertainment, digital goods and services. Also allot of surveilance economy stuff.
Why does your dad have an opinion on what your sister use?
Syncthing has been discontinued for android. Or so I heard.
When new OEM PCs comes with Linux pre-installed is when stuff happens. Not before then. Windows 11 adoption will be slow cause of their exclusion of old hardware. That old hardware will be scrapped or people just keep Windows 10 on it, regardless of security warnings.
The Desktop Linux experience, with gaming and all, seems pretty close to fulfilling everyone needs at this point. But it would not surprise me if Microsoft goes around paying OEM manufacturers to not bundle anything but windows with their products.
That is not entirely accurate. Those laws will be selectively enforced against you in particular, cause they don’t like you. This is a very common tactic in less civilized places. Have rules that no one is following and you have something to hold against your citizens when it suits you. So it does indeed matter.
GOG tends to be my prefered source of games. DRM free and i have the option of making my own backups. I never felt the need to though. And i love the convenience of being able to download my games.
If people have a good internet connection, they prefer the convenince of downloading their games.
edit: a sizable portion of people
Older, out of support, nvidia drivers tend to break from time to time.
I think that is a setting in freetube. Also some browser extensions can do that.
If this is just a rebranding; why does there need to be beta test?
Privacy, I wager.
I have allways wondered what’s wrong with his lips. Here he also look like he has no jaw.
Im guessing republican voters are not voting for this guy cause of what he says or does; but for what they are being told the democrats are doing. They are mostly being lied to and don’t have the energy to find out for themselves. That is what’s going on, right?
Democrat voters are just forced to vote democrat because of this guy wanting to dismantle democracy, invite corruption, sell the country and convert it to corpotocracy.
I have one PC on gnome and another on kde. I like them both for what they are. I lean towards gnome though. Looks nice, feels nice. I don’t find myself needing more functionality than what is there. I tried mimicing gnome in kde, for fun. Didn’t quite get there. I appreciate simplicity where possible.
