AFAIK this will only get you 720p to 1080p depending on the streaming service. No 4K, no HDR.
You can install DNS content blockers (like NextDNS) on Apple TV which will take care of a good chunk of ads and privacy violations. This also works if you install a VPN App that has those options.
Not sure what you would install on a shield that would be much more effective. Maybe you could explain.
And then there is the kinds of people who cry about Signal dropping support for SMS.
You just have to Nix it all together.
Often when I read “controversy” I hear Eminem’s song “Without Me” in my head.
Turning a blind eye is not secure.
So you are saying this should make Firefox exempt from scrutiny when it comes to how its security compares to that of Chromium?

Amazon as a company sucks enough on its own. No need to make shit up.
See? You can’t do it.
I can. I can even name multiple really good shows. But you don’t want to hear them. You want to fabricate a narrative.
I guess I forgot things like Patreon which could be a valid option. Although I’m neither a fan of subscribing to specific creators nor am I particularly fond of Patreon.
With Nebula my perception is that I pay a monthly fee and they can figure out who gets what depending on whose videos I watched. I don’t need to be particular in my action on who to support.
And how are they going to make a living to keep producing videos?
I’d say ask them to join Nebula.
Seriously, since Apple stopped including a wall brick I have not had a single-port power adapter in my household. All I have now are a few power adapters with multiple USB A and C outputs so I can charge whatever is needed.
Scary in what context? For the user? For you as the host? Something else I’m not thinking of?
Is it more complicated to achieve than in other e2ee messengers? Yes, thus saying it is complicated is justified.
First thing I thought when seeing this. Looks like a poster for a gig and the setlist. Someone needs to put an ai to it and make the most garbage of songs out of those titles 😆
I agreed with you at first because from your description it sounded like she was saying security through obscurity was a good thing. But that’s not the case.
What she’s saying in the blog post is that this a 0-day and should be handled according to the best practices for 0-day disclosure.
You have to decide if you want to
I don’t pretend to know enough to judge which option is the best. But I can’t fault the blog author for pointing out that Dansup didn’t follow best practices.
