What spoiler effect? He was running for the Democratic nomination, not as a third party candidate. And with a very small number of vocal exceptions, everyone who voted for Bernie in the primaries voted for Hillary in the general. It was her absolute failure to get independents in multiple flyover states that lost her the election. And a huge part of that is her attempt to appeal to republicans. A strategy that also failed spectacularly for Harris in 2024.

If you look at Alexandria Ocacia Cortez’s primary, when the DNC realized what was happening they tried desperately to undo her primary win. Going so far as to endorse the incumbent Democrat who stayed on the ballot due to a technicality.

Another example would be Biden’s primary win in 2020. The DNC used the pandemic as an excuse to end the primary process early and just declare Biden the winner. And even before that they were heavily pushing Biden on everyone and doing their best to lock Bernie out of just about every poll they conducted, pretending like had no chance even though he was pulling numbers that were equalling, and even surpassing in places, Biden at the time.

Is it because they were women? Are you sure it wasn’t because they were borderline Republicans? Both Clinton and Harris are two of the most conservative democratic candidates to run in the last 30 years.

The absolutely stupid thing about this particular statement is that egg imports had risen to meet demand which was forcing egg prices back down. The tariffs are going to completely reverse that.

But the fact of the matter is, the older generations don’t really use Smart TVs, they’re still using Comcast boxes and accessing regular TV. Some of the more tech savvy will engage Netflix or Disney+ but beyond that, it’s doubtful they even know anything beyond those exist.

I made my Smart TV into a dumb TV by never activating the smart TV functions. And then I plugged a relatively cheap computer into it. So I don’t have this kind of problem.

I’d be careful about that. Walmart in particular is getting nasty about theft. Even in making a mistake at the self checkout they’ve ruined people’s lives.

I switched to Firefox over the summer and have been mostly happy with my decision.

However, there have been a LOT of issues with video playback on certain sites and I really don’t know how to fix them. Searches have been just about useless in regards to finding a fix. The worst one is Nebula. The video often just freezes while the audio just keeps trucking along like nothing is wrong. This has happened to a more limited extent with some YouTube videos as well. And the TAB crash on some sites is quite infuriating.

The people who can’t be faffed to pay enough attention to what is going on beyond their home to realize who it is that actually has their best interests in mind. The women who voted for Trump and then after his SCOTUS picks gutted a woman’s right to abortion were all shocked Pikachu about how that happened and how the state they live in is now completely blocking their access to life giving medications and procedures in the name of saving fetuses that they won’t give two shits about once born.

Or the fucking morons who were utterly flabbergasted that the removal of the benefits of the ACA and the government assistance offered by it suddenly cancelled their ability to have health insurance. And then they turn around and buy Trump’s utter lies that it was somehow Biden’s fault and not the entire Republican party who worked tirelessly to get those things shitcanned.

Those are the ones that truly piss me off. And they can all go fuck themselves. Conservatives are just selfish people who don’t care about anyone but themselves and their immediate loved ones(if even that). And I wish nothing but pain and misery on all of them.

And undecideds are dipshit morons who can’t pull their heads out of their asses long enough to see the mess the world and the country is in and realize who’s actually responsible for all of it.
