My experience voting in Georgia is that in-person elections are done on a computer that prints your vote, and absentee ballots are done with SAT-style bubble filling, so hanging chads specifically shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure they’ll come up with some other kind of fuckery though.
See, imo this is the exact kind of thinking that makes pedophilia dangerous. Most people would agree that being attracted to children is a mental illness. Most people would agree that mental illnesses should be treated by a knowledgeable professional. But pedophilia is so stigmatized that someone even admitting they have a problem, one I very much doubt most of them want to have, has people calling for them to be drawn and quartered, regardless of if they’ve ever actually hurt anyone.
Do I like that there’s art and writing of people having fantasies about children? No, of course not. But making it impossible for people to have a safe outlet, to even talk about it with a medical professional for fear of imprisonment, death threats, or worse, makes it so these people can’t even get the help they need. It’s like teaching abstinence only sex ed. You’re trying to get people to stop having fantasies by burying them, but it only exacerbates the issue.
Honestly no, I don’t think Trump understands. The way he talks about his precious tariffs, I’m pretty sure he’s under the impression that imposing a tariff on Chinese goods means making China pay for it. It’s really just the latest iteration of “build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.”
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made many people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
Of course that’s not a tie, it’s a cabbage.
I have altered the file path. Pray I don’t alter it further.
Moderator straight up told Trump he could ignore the questions and spout whatever horseshit he felt like.
Archbishop? How do those move again?
I mean, that’s how quotes work, yes. I agree with your sentiment, but that’s how all news organizations do it.
Lernin’s fer libterds
I’ve just been buying phones a model or two behind the latest generation. Bonus points for a refurbished phone. Saves a ton of money and they’re usually not much less capable than what’s new.
“If you care about President Trump getting in the White House, you have to get all your friends and family, everyone you know to get out and vote for him. But you may also have to swallow down voting for that RINO [Republican in name only], horrible, shitty Republican you hate … just so we can control the House,”
If I’m understanding correctly, by horrible shitty Republicans she means Republicans who aren’t horrible or shitty enough.
The standard fine for violating the STOCK Act is $200, but frequently the House Committee on Ethics and the Senate Select Committee on Ethics waive the fee.
The penalty is $200, but only if they feel like paying it.
We’d be well served to remember the long and cherished tradition we have in this country of settling our political differences at the ballot box.
We’d be even more well served to remember just who tried to violently do away with just that tradition.
But what if I cock and fire a load?
Right, the article already said they’re Republicans.
Yeah, this looks dumb on the surface, but you’ve got bigger problems if you’re trying to do math with strings
