Looks good actually.
But how does it handle the door opening early? Does it still leave unused time sitting on the time dial?

I would agree with you, but I still want to own a microwave. There are none with reasonable UI behavior as far as I can tell.
(Edit) For example: Opening the door a few seconds early always leaves time on the display which should just automatically clear after a minute or two. Obviously if the user doesn’t use that leftover time immediately then they aren’t going to.
True enough. I likely will just stick with the stock system.
Do you know if that’s still the case on their new systems?
I’m currently waiting for next gen GPUs to become available and have been leaning towards Tuxedo
Everyone is mentioning email. I also use the World Wide Web.
Thank you!
Out of curiosity, does it still also support Reddit style spoilers?
I suppose in about 4.5 billion years the Andromedans can start committing also. (That or nobody can since it won’t be the Milky Way any more)
Baby don’t hurt me
The licensing on HDMI doesn’t allow open source implementations of at least some of the driver stuff.
So it works on Nvidia because of the closed source driver.
(I have not dug into details obviously)
Incredible. I wonder what the vocals are.
Speaking of video games, This from World of Goo might work if OP wants a bit more subtlety.
The beginning (end is similar) is the only part that’s in the game and despite sounding pretty generic it somehow manages to be deeply unsettling in some way.
Exactly what I expected. Saved me from posting it, thank you.
How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like him!
All I know about it is that it’s a long way there.
Limiting to those I have used daily and treated as Linux (used the terminal for example) probably Maemo. I used to carry my Nokia Internet Tablet 770, and then my N800 everywhere with me.
Maemo is also an ancestor of both Tizen and Sailfish OS
I also read the announcement (and FAQ, and other pages) but was still hoping someone would comment on what it is exactly.
(I did guess along the right lines at least, but wasn’t really sure)
I was following that. Nate was saying 71.4% chance for Clinton (just checked again) when basically all of the rest of the media was treating it like 99%. Effectively he was the one suggesting she might actually lose. (Even if it still didn’t seem likely)
I don’t see evidence in the article that it even is ‘their software’ being discussed here - just a framework they are suggesting for compositors to have new functionality (regardless of GPU brands).
It even says “They aren’t going into this alone but at this year’s DisplayNext Hackfest it was also backed up by AMD for going a similar route.”
… Is that the Smith Tower?
(To see it on Android I shared the link, and from the share dialog I could open it in ImgurViewer)
That HyperCam 2 had better be unregistered.
