Even if every update after this one is a useless UI change. :p

Tbf, every moderately old software product is a collection of built-up stupidity.
Go for walks in the middle of the night. Like in a residential neighborhood, or an industrial district. It’s just so peaceful.
Which is, ironically, why it would make political sense to pass this. Not a single congressman is really living paycheck to paycheck. And once the shutdown is over, they’d get the money anyway.
No loss of comfort, due to the ability to postpone payments / dip into savings. No lost income due to eventually getting paid. Huge political bragging rights due to “solidarity”
Literally no downside.
Yet, not a single one of these greedy fucks will probably support it.
Go for it. I double dare you.
I really hope so too. I’m tired of Musk.
Her behavior fits what I would expect of the people who voted for her.
Unfortunately, we don’t have that option. Trump wants to turn America into a dictatorship. We want to keep the country democratic, which means adhering to the rule of law.
There has to be a legal way to fix this. At the very least, a stay on enforcement of deportation orders. :(
Excellent. Now, make a similar statement about corporate spyware.
I love RPGs. But I inevitably spend more time planning out my character class, organizing my inventory, keeping track of quests, etc. Then I actually spend “playing” the game.
It’s an enjoyable play style, I mean I’m choosing to do this. But, it means that every RPG game I see immediately becomes a massive time sink. I’m too employed to ever really enjoy an RPG. :(
I don’t know how old you are, nor should I, so I can’t do anything to stop you.
Totally agree. Microsoft has invested way too much in openAI to have a repeat of the Sam Altman debacle. They will formalize their control of te company. And Altman has already shown that in conflict between the board and MS, he’s on Microsoft’s side.
Also, any openAI developer who thinks that openAI currently is an independent company is kidding themselves. Microsoft is effectively already calling the shots, al be it in a roundabout way.
