  • Not sure, how old I was, probably 10-12. This one isn’t so much classic nightmare, but left me extremely unsettled for weeks and still gives me the heebie jeebies when I think about it.

In my dream I was at an event for returning space shuttle astronauts who had just landed. Apparently there was some major problem during reentry, and most of the crew didn’t make it, but one had barely survived. When they brought out the surviving astronaut for an interview or whatever, the dude was literally just a naked human nervous system in a NASA spacesuit. Where his head would have been was the classic anatomy textbook image of just the brain with eyes floating in front of it, supported by a spinal cord. No bones, no muscle, unable to talk or anything. I remember the head was gently bobbing from side to side a few inches, and every so often the “head” would just rapidly spin around a few revolutions, then stop and continue bobbing eerily.

This is pretty much exactly what the dude looked like in my dream https://img-new.cgtrader.com/items/2443319/bd71a87570/large/nervous-system-and-dura-matter-3d-model-low-poly-fbx-gltf.jpg

You can tell OP does not believe any person outside of America is human.

You did a lot more than conclude they have either been tuned out or need to re-think some things, and you know it.

Get out of here with that "If you’re not vocally against every evil at all times… " bullshit. It’s got the same energy as injecting “but what about men?” into every conversation about women’s problems.

  • Fully agree.

I’ve purchased refurb drives from both them and GoHardDrive.com. So far I’m 5/5 for a mix of Exos and HGST Ultrastar drives working perfectly out of the box.

Anytime these drives pop up on Slickdeals, the thread is full of 3 types of people: People who have never bought a refurb/recert drive but insist they are all going to burn your house down, people who have bought several with no issue, and people who have received a failing drive that the seller promptly replaced.

  • ‘big tech rigged the election’

Isn’t Vance fully in bed with Musk, Thiel, Andreessen, and a cavalcade of similarly minded fash-brained techbros?

That’s the G and the P in GOP. They are literally trying to rig the election with the help of a bunch of billionaire tech bros, but it’s totally okay because “Democrats did it first”

And since the last election was over 1,000 news cycles ago, nobody will question whether that’s actually what happened.

  • This “problem” solves itself when you think ahead to the fact that children will have the ability to vote for themselves when they become adults. The simple act of raising a child to voting age ensures that you have increased your family’s voting power, if that is your concern.

You know who else has a quantitatively bigger stake in the future of the country? Those with more money and property.

For a quick and dirty clean room run the shower really hot for a few minutes to make a bunch of steam and then wait for the humidity to naturally equalize, boom you got a few minutes to do your swap job.

I’ve never heard of this… what’s the idea behind it? That you get the RH near 100%, and any dust particles will be a nucleation point for water to condense on, causing them to literally rain out of the air?
