Free software is very much like communism, the difference is that cloning something costs nothing, imagine if we could use a ray gun to clone any object, then communism would no longer be even remotely idealistic.
Its not truely open source if its non commercial
Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike is not really open source. It’s more like source available

Well Trump and Co certainly fucking tried.
It takes 20+ hours so since the announcement and now they could have send a command and gotten a response
From what I read they can talk to the CCS (Computer Command System) just fine but the CCS is getting garbled data from the FDS (Flight Data Subsystem)
Perhaps that’s exactly why this is happening
“Note that, of the three layers above, only the UI layer is closed-source. Roughly 92% of the browser’s code is open source coming from Chromium, 3% is open source coming from us, which leaves only 5% for our UI closed-source code.”
Straight from the horses mouth. So 92% of it is the same as every other chromium browser. 3% is their oss code and 5% is closed source. That 5% more than actual open source browsers.
Which means the final product is closed source.
Truly a sad day for poppy heads
Yes but it makes it significantly easier to guess
Here’s the difference, an artist can make more art. You cannot change your DNA. If someone steals some of your art it’s not the end of the world. You can make more. If someone has your DNA, you can’t change it. Once its out there that’s it. More over having someone’s DNA can give you significant insight into into just the person whose DNA you have but also their parents and their children.
Holy shit as a socialist this is the most grounded and respectable take I have ever seen.
Same, there’s always more to learn but I guess part of being at the point where you can engineer anything is that learning new stuff is just part of the process and not a big deal. Like you can ask me to program literally anything and I’ll fiqure out all the stuff I dont know on my own
