How can you not? Like there are specific tells as the other user pointed out, but aside from that so much AI slop just has this absurd uncanny valley quality that Im actually kinda blown away that other people don’t immediately see it.

No such thing as too big of a list, thank you. Also you’ll recommend what guy? Your comment cuts off maybe?
Edit nvm that was weird, maybe it didnt load all the way or maybe you edited but i see it all now. Thanks again!
Yeah i dont know what to tell you, i didnt do anything special but didnt have any issues with any of the lego games either on windows or native steamdeck. Actually i think lego the hobbit might have crashed twice during spliscreen, but both times were after at least 4+ hours of playtime, and my SSD was 90%+ full and I only have 16GB of ram and 4gb of VRAM so i think I chalked it up to a swap file/memory fault, but I’ve had the same issue playing other games for extended periods of time. Lego games actually seemed to be some of the most reliable in my experience. Not discounting your experience but i just wanted to give an alternate experience/possibility.
I played skywalker saga through no problem, albeit on windows streaming theough moonlight to the steamdeck but it worked great. Alot of lego games actually, with no issues. Lego the hobbit, lord of the rings, lego harry potter, some straight from steamdeck some streamed from pc depending on hard drive space, but i didnt encounter any bugs or crashes with any of them so your mileage may vary.
Edit: all were local splitscreen as well
I would love some split screen recommendations for myself and my almost gamer girlfriend. She loved all the lego games weve played, it takes two, sackboy, unravel, bg3, divinity, castles crashers, children of morta, idk lots of others but please feed me all your recommendations because theres never enough split screen.
Yeah like so could deleting system32, and there were plenty of memes about that also.
This seems low, idk i havent tried horizon on it but ghosts of tsushima is probably the most demanding game ive tried and i still got over 2 hours with it. Are you playing it off an SD card?
So stop crying about it and tell us your must-pirate games already.
Im sure you could find a usb c camera that could easily be obscured or pinned to a lapel or otherwise disguised for cheaper than the price of a pair of smart glasses, or even just wear your phone on a lanyard around your neck with the screen facing your chest. People might think its weird but noone is going to second guess it unless your phone is in your hands actively pointing at them.
I mean not really. Even if they have a rough idea of how many times their game has been pirated by looking at seeder counts on torrents or whatever, theyre definitely not taking those numbers as a win and saying “look how many people didnt pay for our product, that just proves everyone really wants it”. Theyre comparing sales numbers.
Add a keyboard, mouse and monitor, which are already required for every other pc, and you can do everything on the steam deck that you can on any other pc. The steamdeck just has the additional functionality of working without those if you so choose.
Have you not heard of a router? Sure i have an internet connection but i wouldnt have to. Lots of people have subnetworks that are isolated from outside network access, and my router would still be able to stream from my computer to my laptop even if my internet was down or i unplugged the modem. The last time they did scheduled maintenance on my internet thats exactly what i did, i streamed things that i had previously downloaded and saved on a different computer.
If youre only streaming it within your home network that could still be very much offline…
Microsoft mjght have been better than thwy are now then, but they were NEVER fun and cool. Dont be gaslit.
They tarred Ed.
Lol sync users are so brainwashed and will say anything to justify it. Connect is so nice and usable, i haven’t had a single issue with it since I started using it months ago. Jerboa has also come a long way, but was a little raw at the time and so I mostly got used to connect.
Yeah, and the ones that did are probably the bottom of the barrel.
You won’t find any sense behind it except data harvesting. They want all your info in one place, that’s the end of the story.
I assume we saw the same one but it wasn’t an ‘official’ controller, it was a 3rd party one specifically designed with steam in mind. Made by a company called Hori. Valve hasn’t announced another steam controller yet.
I want to know what a dinosaur resignation letter would sound like. Not enough to ask an LLM, but I am curious.
