From experience shipping releases, “bigger updates” and “more tested” are more or less antithetical. The testing surface area tends to grow exponentially with the amount of features you ship with a given release, to the point I tend to see small, regular releases, as a better sign of stability.

I donate a bunch of things on Marketplace (mostly baby/kids’ clothes and toys the kids outgrew). I also give to the local food banks and food drives whenever I can and think about it. If you’re specifically asking about money, I give to, and last summer fundraised for, Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

It’s interesting, I have very wide and flat feet, but support shoes makes my foot slimmer and shorter to the point my Brooks Adrenaline GTS are a full size down from my Vans and at least half a size down from most regular shoes.

Some people do overestimate how much of the software they’re actually using, and how far back some features go. Otherwise I’m pretty proficient in English. I’d say I’m more or less bilingual at this point. I cannot seem to enjoy fiction books nearly as much in the language though. I can’t really appreciate the differences in style well enough, I think.
