I don’t know what they were expecting, keeping it around all those streams and lakes.

It’s probably not very simple. Bauh is a bit clunky compared to this app. If I was going to work on extending functionality, I’d probably look into forking Synaptic first.
Don’t feed the trolls, especially the ones that are bad at it. But yeah, this app doesn’t let you select and uninstall multiple things at the same time nor does it have all the functionality of Synaptic (which is amaze, notably for the search tool). I’d settle on a CLI tool for this too, I just want a one stop shop because I get so triggered having to juggle different managers. It’s just fucking annoying really. Like, I found the cli tool Topgrade and it is just the best thing ever for keeping things up to date from all package managers, I want that with extended functionality as even this tool doesn’t manage every manager that Topgrade does. Something modular, otherwise I waste time fucking around with everything. That’s really the core issue, it’s a pain in the ass not being centralised. If I had more time and unlimited finances I’d fork this and try to extend it myself.
Maybe consider why you are being downvoted. Have a good one.
Mate, you are not being clear at all. I’ve clarified this multiple times. If you’re unwilling to acknowledge that out-of-the-box package managers do not generally include non-native package formats, this conversation can’t progress.
I did not make this. This does include Snaps and Flatpaks and Debs and a lot of other formats. Your general package managers do not.
It does not include appimages or various other formats that are included in this app. This is an all in one solution.
I want to see it all in a single database and manage it all in one place in a GUI with multi select.
God, this is a great start to what I want. I want this to have a baby with Synaptic. This is great for cleaning up though.
I want a centralised app manage, not 50. I’d probably stick them in a folder and forget them if not for Gear Lever.
Haha, I break snap a lot less than the others, and it took a bit to figure out the differences. Appimages are annoying af. Flatpaks are my favourite when there isn’t a good old .deb. I recently broke Flatpak though so it’s on my naughty list. Snap still chugging along for some reason, I just wish the permissions weren’t so crazy strict (Nextcloud).
Speaking of all this, I realised I’ve accidentally installed some things twice. Is there a good way to list all the different package managers together to see what is duplicated?
Honey, he’s a worm in a meatsuit. I’m not quite sure how much of the man was left.
There may be some fiddling you can do with Flatseal.
WSL is built for you.

I switched to LibreOffice Calc. I program my sheets and don’t need all the bells and whistles of Excel.
Use Mint and it will be less frustrating.
And Nero chose to play a fiddle.
