“Got a minute?” not until I know why
I actually would prefer to be contacted on teams instead of email…
I’m copied on EVERYTHING, my inbox is utterly useless
Sure, not Taylor Swift, but most shows are $30 or less
These kids are wasting $30 on a game that they play 20-40 hours a month! They should instead go see 2 movies or go to one concert or eat at a restaurant once
I’m on the AV side of things and am currently dealing with their cameras not working with the 3rd party extenders that HP recommended. And why do they need these extenders at all? Because they’re USB in 2025 and Poly refuses to make their own.
We have 20 different installs going on with the exact same setup and HP is just like “huh that’s weird!”
Bonus rant: before HP bought them, Poly had normal SKUs. Like you knew what the product was based on the SKU. You knew if it was hardware or a service line. Now, the Poly E70 (shit camera btw) for example has the SKU “67J25AA#ABA.” The E60 is "9W1A6AA#AC3.
I asked our rep directly what the fuck was going on with this garbage and he told me HP stuck all the products on a spreadsheet and basically assigned the SKUs randomly. There is no rhyme or reason.
I work with HP (Poly) on a daily basis and I will never own one of their products. They’re a pain to work with and their products are outclassed by less expensive options.
Fuck HP. Trash company.
The thumbnail doesn’t appear in the article at all…what game is that? Kind of looks like Ghost of Tsushima but I don’t remember that part
Online should be free.
And yeesh, 30fps as the goal…
So don’t watch it. Problem solved lol
If you think he made it long because that “equals good content” you are either unfamiliar with Rossmann, not the target audience, or simply delusional
This is a legitimately good use of the technology.
To be clear, I’m not one of the people complaining. The game wouldn’t be different for me with or without the humor.
Hey man, enjoy! I don’t feel strongly about the dialogue either way but it’s apparently polarizing for a lot of people.
I’ve played most of the games in the series and enjoyed them so I’m neither a hater nor a stan
I see that complaint pretty often when borderlands gets brought up, though it’s not “this game sucks because of the humor”
It’s usually people saying they loved the humor as a kid but now they find it kind of cringey and don’t have any interest in playing it.
Inspired by Animal Crossing :)
Ubisoft :(
WoW jumped the shark 2-3 expansions ago but now that Kotick is gone, it’s been coming back. The devs are actually allowed to work on things they and the players want.
I was a hater but I actually love the current expansion and am looking forward to this. They stole skyriding from Guild Wars and we’ve been asking them to keep going - a ground mount upgrade to make it worthwhile over flying sounds awesome to me.
I’m not saying it’s incorrect but a least two of these logos are wrong and reduces my trust in the reporting
You do not know what you’re talking about. The $50 no name soundbar from Walmart might not be an improvement but soundbars from Sonos (and others) are MAJOR upgrades.
A surround sound system will likely sound better (again not the $100 combo pack from Walmart) but requires placing speakers in the proper places…which most people do not even do
Thanks, saving that to read later!
I’ve heard this argument before and it doesn’t make sense to me. Memes include words and people generally don’t express nuanced ideas through memes. They’re all about saying as little as possible using a slightly altered version of a scripted scene. It’s a devolution in language, not an extension of it. And it’s a cancerous one - you get more attention online if you appeal to the lowest common denominator by using a meme template so why think on the subject any further beyond that on? Hell, why even make something yourself when you can copy and paste it from your favorite meme bucket (Instagram, reddit, etc)
I know it’s probably a setting you can change but it makes me sad that every OS seems to have moved to taskbars that don’t show program titles
