Generally, no. Apt gets its packages from the repositories, so unless (i) your .deb package gets added to those repositories, or (ii) you add a new repository that contains your package, it won’t be updated.

Manjaro has been one of the worst Arch-based distros I have used so far. It broke constantly, where normal Arch wouldn’t. Also, it’s just not a good look when their website certificate runs out and they tell users to turn back the clock a few days until they fix it (archive link, changed to this). Also it expired again a year later (archive)

You can use a DNS challenge to show you are in control of the domain without having anything exposed to the net. Essentially LE gives you a special value you have to add as a TXT DNS entry. LE will check if this record exists for your domain, and gives you a certificate, no public IP involved. This even allows you to create wildcard certificates.

For switch emularion, I only really got around to TotK so far. In general I play singleplayer RPGs, such as Witcher 3, Horizon: Zero Dawn, as well as some Cult of the Lamb. The Deck handled all of these very well at medium to medium-high settings. Emulation just adds a considerable performance overhead.
