That is an option I’ve been thinking about but I’ve never used it, I’m not a dev. Maybe I’ll look at it more seriously since it does sound like what would work best, I’d really apprecieate the versioning. Thanks!

In my particular case I only have a few .env files and they don’t have any credentials in them. This is mostly for the docker-compose files.
I love the pair of Flux shoes I got about 6 months ago. Zero pain of Morton’s neuroma
Brave works really well for blocking on iOS. At least is has for me for quite some time. And Orion is another solid option. If I could get Floccus extension to work properly with Orion I’d probably switch completely.
95% of the time I’ll use the CLI but occasionally it’s faster for me to check a bunch of boxes in Portainer and restart entire stacks at the same time instead of going to each one’s folder. Maybe a few other little things like that but you get the idea.
I’ve loved using Backblaze B2 buckets. Been using them for years and it’s very reasonable. Many different backup titles can use them.
Not sure if this is a path you’d want to follow but I use it with Cloudflare tunnels.
I tried it a while back, maybe a month or two, and for some reason I couldn’t even get it to run. It’s not my first time using docker, I have almost 60 containers now, but for some reason something wasn’t clicking. I’m bummed b/c I really want to try it. I’ll revisit it again probably in the next month or two just to see if something has changed. Sorry I"m not more helpful.
I’ve really enjoyed Yomu. You can get pretty far without any payment but for about $5 you can purchase it.
Custom molded ear plugs. I can play for hours and still hear the full spectrum of frequencies and no ringing.
I’ve moved from Synology and have started using Owncloud. So far it has been mostly fine. I had a wierd issue upgrading from 10.13 to 10.14 but was able to simply redo my setup and it’s now fine. However, I’m also checking out Seafile. So far it seems very quick and works well but I haven’t gotten to really put it through the paces. It’s main downside is the data not being stored in standard files/folders. My 2 cents…
You might want to check out their Tunnels product. It might do what you want and is easy.
I was using desktop.
I’ve used it for a while then found it a little janky at time so I moved to FF. This post inspired me to try it again and I will say it seems more stable. Also, the only extension I’ve installed is Ublock Origin (Chrome) and it works perfectly. This is on the desktop version. It scores 100% on the D3 adblock test. I haven’t gotten to play with it on my mobile devices yet but plan on it this week.
I’ve had amazing luck with the Synology routers. You can start with one then if you want/need you add more to create a mesh network. I find the interface easy as well. My 2 cents of course…
I’m tinkering between Homepage and Dashy. Both are pretty great
Any chance you wouldn’t mind sharing the SSL renewal doc? Redacted of course. Mine is coming up and I’d like to do it correctly this time. :)
Am I wrong in assuming that this only works with Firefox and isn’t available to sync other browsers?
I’ve had good luck with pixelfed.social
Maybe using a tailscale funnel would be a good option for you? I use one for a webdav setup to get around CF’s 100mb limit on uploads when clients won’t chunk their data properly. It was fairly easy to set up and works perfectly.
